Obama should know his borderline advice doesn't work

Israel must have secure and defensible borders if there shall be peace in the Middle East. We have heard that some time from many U.S. administrations. Withdraw to the 1967 borders "with certain adjustments" are current mantra. These statements are impractical to achieve.

If you look at the topography of Jerusalem, for example, heading North, there is no natural barrier that could be used as a defensible border. This applies, in principle, going South.

It is hypocrisy for President Barack Obama to try to impose this condition in this area when the US has a natural frontier that aren't justifiable — or at least not be defended. It is called the Rio Grande. If we can't do it against criminal gangs, how can we expect Israel to secure its border with a professional army and groups of State-sponsored terrorists?
