Democrats focus on choice, not solutions

We hear constantly from Democrats that the problems with Medicare is caused by tax cuts for the rich, foreign wars and subsidies for big oil.

Frankly, if the wars came to an end tomorrow, tax breaks would have immediately and subsidies for big oil was thrown, the net effect of evil in Medicare would be zero. The huge problems with Medicare and Medicaid have small potatoes above.

But what do the Democrats? House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer told a reporter that the Democrats realize that there are major problems with Medicare but do not want to add solutions as they will receive treatment that Paul Ryan.

Five budgets have been introduced in the Senate and Democrats has not cast a "Yes" vote on any of them, including President Barack Obama's budget, which was voted down unanimously. Senate majority leader Harry Reid and Democrats have not produced a budget for two years for political reasons.

The much-vaunted affordable care Act doesn't do a thing about the costs of health care other than implementing independent payment Advisory Board, which has the ability to ration care.

To the left is shameless demagoguery on Medicare. Democrats know that the program has deep problems but would rather have the question next November than some solutions now.

Ryan, a Republican, came out with a plan to at least make an attempt to head on to tackle perhaps the most important issue of our time.

What is leadership?

To me it indicates that the Democratic Party is more interested in winning elections than in the future in this country.
