Photos: Electric Daisy Carnival wraps preparations for tonight's opening

With less than three hours to go, the final preparations for tonight's Las Vegas premiere of 15th annual Carnival for electric Daisy. It looks now empty, glancing at Tom Donoghue Photography Gallery, but over the next three nights--from 8 p.m. to sunrise tonight, tomorrow and Sunday--this will be the scene of the biggest electronic dance music festival in North America.

Some predict a time-record turnout of up to 250,000 fans through the gates to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. 1,000-Acre site will display more than 200 performers works for and of the six stages. Thurston Moore opened EDC at 8 tonight and Vegas DeLuxe will cover it with a team of writers and photographers led by Editor Don Chareunsy.
